Beaumont Motte was a short lived motte type castle constructed perhaps in the 12th century and abandoned by the late 13th when St Marys Church was built on top of it. The earthwork is clearly visible.

Beetham Castle Hill is an irregular D-shaped flat-topped mound on top of a prominent ridge in parkland near Dallam Tower. It is defensively sited, and there was both a ditch and perimeter bank, but if intended as a motte or ringwork it was never finished as the northern side is undefended and easy to access.

Beetham Hall is a house and farm complex with a ruined tower house and vestiges of walled courtyard ranges dating back to the 17th century rebuild. The tower is older. The site is in use as a crematorium, and there may be access from this business.

Bewcastle is a modest rectangular courtyard acting as a shell keep, within the earthworks of a Roman fort and upon the site of an eariler timber castle. It was repeatedly decaying and repaired until the 16th century, and last garrisonned in 1639.
