Beganston Castle

Beganston Castle, or Leckwith Castle, is a site occupied by a modern farm and is entirely built over, although there are suggestions that the mutilated remains of a ringwork can be found here. It is not possible to see these without permission, and there may, in fact, be nothing left. The manor of Leckwith was a demesne manor of Cardiff Castle, and it is about half a mile from Leckwith church, so it is possible there was a small defended site here.
