Tower Tye Details

Tower Tye is a circular earthwork consisting of a bank with both internal and external ditches. The central platform is about 30 metres across, and there are no breaks in the bank. On balance this is unlikely to have been a castle of any sort. It is tree covered and within the grounds of Naworth Castle.
