Parc-y-Castell

Parc-y-Castell Details

Parc-y-Castell is a field containing the earthworks of a well-preserved ringwork and bailey at the edge of a river cliff, which has been partially eroded by landslip on the river side. It is likely to have been built for the Norman kings in their meetings with the bishops.
