Kinnerton Court Motte

Kinnerton Hall Motte is a well-defined ditched motte which can be seen within the centre of the village of Kinnerton a short distance from the parish church. It is possible that a bailey is recalled in the shape of adjacent field boundaries, and the site occupies an area of strategic importance for dominating the northern side of a wide and fertile area north of Old Radnor. It is within private gardens but can be seen from the public roads at a distance. Permission would be needed to access the site closer.
