Hughs Castle

Hughs Castle is a small ditched motte and platform bailey which was erected to the south of the Afon Loughor more or less opposite the Hendy site. It is in a field which is used for livestock, and the farm has a sign up asking people to stay out of the field. The site is on higher ground than the surrounding area, and is also not far from the church of St Teilo, which is on another high piece of ground to the north-west.
