Fonmon Castle is a mansion which incorporates many medieval features within it, and which is open to the public for a fee. It occupies a site at the top of a river cliff, the Fonmon Pool draining through it into the Kenson River. The castle has a complex history and had substantial redesigns in the 18th century. Although only a short distance from public roads, the castle itself is hidden behind mature trees.
