Evenwood; The Barony Details

Evenwood The Barony is a much eroded section of moat which once surrounded a manorial site of the Bishops of Durham. The derelict buildings were demolished in 1826 and a farm built on the site. There is no evidence to suggest the nature of buildings before this.
