Domen-yr-Allt is a prominently sited ditched motte which sits on a hilltop site overlooking the headwaters of the Nant Fyllon. It is conceivable but unproven that a bailey area existed to the south-east, where the summit of the hill has a pronounced flatter area. It remained in use into the 13th century, and may be the site of Bodyddon Castle, reported as destroyed in 1257. Today the site is covered in dense woodland, and there are no clear paths leading to it, so guidance should be sought at the farmhouse, which is presumably the landowner.
