Domen Las Castle is a motte and bailey castle situated on the southern side of the Afon Dyfi, overlooking the confluence with the Afon Einion just before the estuary starts to widen. It lies at the end of a narrow rocky ridge surrounded by tidal marshes, and it is possible to see a political statement in the parallel site at Pennal the other side of the river. As the castle site lies deep within an RSPB reserve, it ought to be publicly accessible, but there are no obvious paths to it, so guidance should definitely be sought before attempting to access.
