Domen Ddreiniog

Domen Ddreiniog is a small but well defined ditched motte overlooking an old crossing point of the Afon Dysynni. It is surrounded by agricultural fields, and cannot be seen clearly from the road due to trees growing on it, but it is possible to view from a distance at the road bridge. There is no evidence of a bailey, or for buildings on the summit, although no excavation has been done to confirm a possible llys-type site. Permission should be gained if you wish to look closely at the site.
