Dingestow Castle is a well defined set of earthworks that once hosted a stone castle. The main structure stood on top of a sub-oval mound near the parish church, and a lower courtyard defended by a ditch lay adjacent. The whole is accessible on foot for the general public, although the site is used for livestock, so it is better to avoid visiting in lambing season. A short distance to the east is the likely predecessor, Mill Wood Motte.
