Chepstow Park is a large upland area that was devoted to hunting. On high ground in the middle of the wood is the remains of a circular earthwork thought to represent a ditched motte or ringwork. Today the wood is covered by forestry, but paths through the woods are accessible, and it ought to be possible to access the site from the village of Devauden, although it is a good half mile walk.
