Castle Nimble

Castle Nimble is a small mound with a ditched courtyard to the east and may be a motte or a collapsed tower. It is surrounded by farmland that can be boggy at times, and there is a public right of way across the fields that passes between the motte and possible bailey, both of which are covered in trees. Drainage works have confused possible wider medieval banks and ditches, but it seems clear that a small castle stood here next to a stream.
