Castell Prysor

Castell Prysor is an interesting if badly damaged ruined tower sat on top of a prominent knob of rock on the north side of the Afon Prysor between Trawsfynydd and Bala. It is clearly visible from the main road, but access is tricky, requires permission, and it is a fair walk. On top of the rock was a round tower-keep, and on the terraces below were other buildings of unknown purpose, but which may have served as a llys.
