Castell Nonni

Castell Nonni is a ditched motte which overlooks the source of a small tributary of the River Teifi. The site is not naturally strong and the location is gently sloping farmland, meaning that in order to access permission should be sought from the farmer. There is no clear evidence of a bailey, although the course of the water is suggestive of a second ditch, and the ground to the east is slightly elevated. The mound is covered with trees, making it impossible to see from public roads.
