Castell Maenclochog, site of small stone castle on knoll destroyed by Welsh C13
- Closest To: Maenclochog

Castell Maenclochog is believed to have been a small masonry castle erected on the site of an early ditched and banked settlement. However it is also the case that at the location given is a natural rocky outcrop which may have served as a motte. The adjacent enclosure (which could have served as a bailey) is now used as a public car park, and was previously used as a cattle market. The proximity to the village church is indicative of a planned manor of sorts. The mound cannot be accessed, but is visible from the car park.
