Castell Llwyn Gwinau

Castell Llwyn Gwinau is an isolated and largely ploughed out ditched motte erected on the top of a hill overlooking wide lowlands which form a considerable source of water to the River Teifi. There is no evidence of a bailey enclosure, and the motte is covered with trees at the junction of four fields used for agriculture. It cannot be clearly seen from the public road, and permission should be gained from the farmer before attempting to access the site.
