Castell Farm Llanddeiniolen

Castell Farm Llanddeiniolen has a large raised area to the south of it which is believed to have been a fortified site of some description – although whether it was a castle or not is questionable. The oval shaped summit has certainly been artificially scarped at some point, and one end has been quarried away. It may in fact be an earlier site along the lines of an Irish rath, but has been listed as a motte many times.
