Castell Bryn Amlwg

Castell Bryn Amlwg occupies a hilltop site which is actually just inside the English border. It consists of the earthworks of an impressive ditched motte that was later converted in several stages into a stone courtyard castle, only the footings of which can be seen. It lies on land surrounded by fields, and permission should be sought from the farm if you wish to access it.
