Camrose Castle

Camrose Castle is a large circular mound within the grounds of nearby Camrose House. It is entirely overgrown by trees but one side can be seen from a small public road, which runs between the mound and a banked ditch which supposedly represents part of the bailey. However, if this is the case a considerable part of the bailey has been eroded away, and it has also been suggested that the mound is a post-medieval garden feature, which is now landscaped.
