Cae Thygle has been considered as a possible castle for some time. However, the earthwork is an oval ditch surrounding a hilltop site at the end of a promontory. The enclosed area is about 40 metres across, 2 metres higher than the ditch and is flattish, and there are also two D-shaped annexes. It is undated.
