Brecon Castle is a ruined stone castle of the 13th century on the site of an 11th century predecessor. It was in ruins by the 17th century and in the 19th century the large buildings now used as the Brecon Castle Hotel occupy much of the site. The early 14th century hall ruin is the most significant remaining part. Access is possible unless there is a function on.
