Bleddfa Castle is the much ruined remains of a late 12th century stone castle built upon the site of an earlier motte and bailey. It overlooks the site of an old river ford, and is surrounded by agricultural fields. Permission to access would presumably be from the adjacent farm, but the outline of the tree covered motte, containing the remains of a ruined keep, can be seen from the public road.
