Banc Llwyndomen

Banc Llwyndomen is a large D-shaped mound with an external ditch in a field used for livestock but publicly accessible as far as I could tell. The mound and ditch are overgrown with gorse and other vegetation which makes it hard to interpret, but LIDAR shows that there is a perimeter bank at the top of the mound. Just to the south is Hendy Castle, a ditched motte which is round in shape and which is accessible. Both lie in the floodplain on the banks of the River Loughor.
