Aberedw Castle is a small and badly ruined quadrangular stone castle within a ditch. It was built for Walter Hakelut in the late 13th century and replaced the earlier tower and motte to the south. It lies behind a wire fence in an area used for livestock, so permission should be gained if you wish to access past the public footpath which runs alongside.
