Aber Castle

Aber Castle, also known as Abergwyngregyn, is a substantial ditched motte with vague traces of a possible bailey area that could have been the site of a medieval llys of the Princes of Gwynedd. Archaeology has identified the remains of stone buildings in the supposed bailey area. It is on private land to the rear of housing, so permission to access the site will be needed.
